OOO I bet cutting that hole in the firewall was a pucker moment
I'm surprised that it's not a grommet.

Got to work on this today. I got the o2j shift box and cables modified and fired in to the mk2 today.

From underneath. It was crazy how smooth this went, every hole I drilled ended up being right where I needed it to be... That never happens.

I fabbed up this bracket for the rear.. Again it all fit the first time??

So cool seeing the six speed knob in my mk2!
I also ordered my forth set of park brake cables. Again they were too long. So I decide to shorten then because I'm so frustrated that I can't find the right cables to fit. So after toying around with a few different I found a couple of barrel clamps for an air cooled throttle cable.

I haven't adjusted them how I want them yet but once I do I think I might fold them over and solder them in place.
All and all today was a good day.

Redid my VR6 harness this week. This is how it started.

My pile of "extra" wires lol.

Before I installed it in the car rewrapped it and spent some time under the dash plugging it all in with the OBD2 port.

Also installed all the break lines, bled those and replaced a torn steering rack boot.
I ordered a lightweight steal solid mass flywheel and related for the o2m from Four Seasons Tuning. They seem to be the only people that make one that's not aluminum. It's still like 16lbs but it beats the stock dual mass that pushing almost 30lbs I think. I'm pretty sure after a little bit of cleaning and installing the clutch I'll be able to put the engine in

Pretty sure I have a few sets of parking brake cables. That's weird they send u the ones that are too long. If yours were still long I'd be interested in the for my caddy

Nope, I 'fixed' them as seen above.
