havin some real issues now, even with the fuel pump "hardwired" direct to battery and running im not getting fuel pressure, i know there is gas in there. put 5 gallons in yesterday. i did however accidentally "arc" a wrench to a fuel line putting in the battery, could that short out the electricals in the fuel dizzy??? and cause no flow? when the pump is running, i can hear fuel passing through the dizzy and back down the return line to the tank.... any ideas???

Fuel Accumulator? Also try taking an injector out of the head, and see if it weeps fuel or not. If it does, then you have some sort of pressure. If not, then you have to find out why you have pressure at the dissy and not the injectors. My advice would be to not take that dizzy apart if you do not have to. They are nasty.

ok not a dizzy problem, the car needs a shot of starter fluid then it gets things pumpin and works fine, kinda has an idle issue.... maybe it just needs to be ran for a while, but well see if i can figure some stuff out, was busy chasin joe in helena this weekend....

I made one of those pressure tester set-ups for CIS-E back when I had my GTI, if you want to borrow it it may help.
I really think your start and idle issues will be greatly helped by routing the inlet to the idle air controller to the airbox, or the tube between box and throttle.
Maybe some evening this week I can come and check it out?
