So this is the deal up to now. I have checked the fuel pump and it's good to go. Also pulled the fuel return line and am getting fuel out of it. So I pulled the timing covers and checked to make sure the timing was still on and it is. Have since replaced both of the cam sensors. Still nothing. I cave checked for codes. The only thing that came up was a faulty O2 sensor. But I have had that code for a while. I have also pulled the plugs and they are burning clean. So the car just cranks and every so often it sounds like it will fire but it doesn't. Im assuming that it has a crank sensor but my Bentley doesn't mention one. If it does have a crank sensor could that be bad? If anyone has any ideas let me know Thanks.

I replaced both cam sensors. There is one at the front right and one at the back left. I have a crank sensor on the way I just wasn't sure were it's located on the block. I find it weird that the bentley doesn't mention it.

The crank sensor is also known as the engine speed sensor (G28), which may be why you can't find info. It's going to be on or near the bell housing on the drivers side. Look for a white plug in the group of plugs on your firewall behind/below the coolant reservoir, follow it down and you'll see it.

You may be able to get a replacement from Randy in Worden - I bet he has them in stock. I might be headed that way tomorrow afternoon and I will probably stop by if you need someone to pick it up.

Are you hearing the fuel pump turn on and run? You can have a good pump, but if the switch never tells it to turn on...

The pump is good. I took the lines off and it pumps just fine. Thanks mike but I have a crank sensor on the way.

Ended up losing 7 gal's of fuel yesterday before I could take the pump back out. But on the brighter side took it apart today and the seal just folded into the tank. So I carefully put it back together and no leaks.

Now I just have to fix all the stuff my dad destroyed in the short time he had the car.
