I can clearly see the problem, someone installed your clutch and flywheel backwards.

Yeah it's definitely a different way to install a manual clutch.

Put this back together last night, about 90% done:
Cleaned up the bell housing and shift selector...scraped off some of the oily dirt buildup off of the case:
Everything went together pretty easily. Dang, that right side axle flange gets in the way every single time, but got past that:
Back in. Adjusted clutch cable, installed starter, need to bolt up the axles, and then it's ready to run:
