Okay, so I talked to Moe at Gomer's today on the dyno. He says that we would have to do it on a saturday(which I figured would work for everyone anyway) and we would need 5-6 cars FOR SURE, as the dyno does not usually run on the weekends, except for things like this, and he has to pay his guys to come in for us. He says that we would probably be doing baseline runs and quarter mile times. If anyone is planning on doing any tuning on the dyno, we would need to know ahead of time. I told him that I didn't know of anyone who would want to do that, but I would check it out. Pretty much the only "rules" he said were, you can not drive your own car on it, they will do it for you, for liability reasons. If you don't like it, don't run it. Also, you will need to know what you want to accomplish before the car is on the rollers, if you want baseline, and quarter mile, that is what you are going to get. In order to get all the cars on in the time alloted, we need to know that to keep the cars moving. He figured that we would start around 8:30 in the morning, and finish up around noon-one 0'clock. Depending on how many cars we get( I would like to see at least 6) it should be around $75.00 for your dyno time. I would assume this would include a few pulls with minor tweeks(air filter/no filter, etc...) and quarter mile run. he seemes pretty excited to get some hopped up 'dubs on the rollers. That is what I have for now. Questions, comments, concerns? Who is ready to add their name to the list for the first BSVW dyno day?!

Gomer's, isn't that the diesel place? If so, the shop I work at deals with them a bit.

once i get some cash flow from the new job i'd be in. could be a little bit though.

if we get one going this year that would be cool. i have some plans for my type 3 (turbo'd 1.6) so i would like to get that on some rollers next year also.

I think the dates are probably any saturday. I can see if any are bad for them. I would need a little bit of time, as I am putting most of my monies towards my garage right now, but could defintely do it before winter sets in. Colder air is better anyway. I am thinking of running the GTI, 'cause I know it has not power, but I want to see for sure. I am hoping to surprise myself. What dates are looking good for the prospects?

Any time after oct.8th works for me. I dont drive my car in snow and such so it would be nice if its befor first snowfall or im out park it for winter.I would like to c what it has befor i chip it so les do this.
