It took some major training, but my lady finally knocks her feet together a few times before she puts them in the car

Hmm - where is the best place to buy those mats? Mine also have holes in them. Its about time...
Whats an average price i could pay?
And my GTI got a new clutch today =) Installed and ready to go.
i bought the stock VR6 clutch with the eurospec flywheel and a new master and slave. Wow. the feel of the clutch is so different i cannot quite believe it.
Not to mention it revs even faster and still is smooth!

Great to see ya Aeron!
Grabbed the '89 coupe from Scott on Sunday (13th.)
Threw on my 15" TSW Volcanoes.
Rolled back to Anaconda from Missoula in the coupe at 80-85 and got almost 30mpg.
Washed it a couple times since then.
Aired all the tires up evenly to about 60lbs.
New fuel filter.
Digi2 Airbox got modded; snorkel removed, vacumn lines removed and holes plugged, AFS relieved 3 teeth.
All new vacumn lines for everything else.
New dipstick funnel.
Distributor Cap. Messed with timing (didn't know about how picky Digi2 is.

)
New heater core.
Rolled back to Anaconda hard at 80+ into a bad headwind and got over 24mpg.
Rolled back from Anaconda on a mileage run at 65mph and got almost 36mpg.
Last night; plugs (Gapped at .25,) wires, rotor,
Today; oil change, filter, timing fixed to 6° BTDC @ 2300rpms, new ground strap and ground to tranny from frame, new positive cable to starter, all connections were sanded before hand, newly cleaned battery cable clamps, PCV cleaned, and ISV cleaned.

If by modding it you mean relieving the tension on the AFS, yes haha. I'm just doing it on a trial basis to see if it did anything. You know something I don't know?

Gave the coupe some more loving. Dyed the bumpers, mocked up some blacked out lights until the Niteshades get here this week.
