Thanks guys, but after pulling the engine wiring harness i feel like i'm in over my head in shi*. Excuse my language.. Has anyone on this forum done this swap with just the engine wiring harness? and would you be willing to give me some help, maybe over the phone? I've searched here, google, and the vortex and have not come up with anything helpful. I even bought the book for the 1997 and the 1981 and the wiring diagrams are bare.. Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

kevin used digifant 2 on his, you only need to fabricate a throttle switch setup, and switch the trigger wheel on the distributor to the digi 4 window. or search the vortex, the other swap isnt so bad either, but cant say for sure, trevor had done it however, he can chime in!

I found it is easy to swap the entire car over to the CE2 wiring. Just wire in the tail lights and fuel pump.

So splicing in just the engine harness isn't as easy as tearing out all the wiring and doing it that way? Thanks, TJ

Depends on who you ask I guess. In your case it may be easier to splice but I have not done this yet. I guess that I forgot about the interior wiring in your case(heat, wipers, lights etc.).
