I should, but I may just clean them up and POR15 them. That should be durable and give a clean look.

i media blasted and painted all my tins and all random tubes and both heat exchangers, took forever.
I still am not sold on por15. I know it "stops rust" and all the hosers on the samba seem to use it on everything. i need to look in to it more.
Did you locate a mustache bar? Ive got one for ya.

I think with the amount of rust that can be found on old steel the por15 stops it, and then seals the metal so it won't ever rust again. So basically the part you coated will never degrade. It dries harder, seals better and lasts longer than paint. You should give it a try, it's a great product. Make sure to do the correct prep work too, so get the Metal Ready and the Marine Clean too.

Anyway :) yes I do need a mustache bar. I you have one and can get ship to me next week, let me know what you want for it. I think I found a flywheel and clutch kit too, unless you have something lying around.

Thanks Ryan, I'm good for now but I'll let you know if anything comes up. If you get a chance c'mon by the house - we are home usually after 6.

Got to work on the bus a little this weekend - the interior is all ready to install some sound material. It's not really in the budget, but I really don't want to get all the panels reinstalled and not have done this. A couple of the panels are a little fragile and could be replaced but I am going to try to rejuvenate them and make them work to stay within budget.

Panels all cleaned up:

That's all I got done that day - more will be done.
