Today I decide to start attacking the grime on the underside of the Golf's hood and engine bay in general. This car has had some serious leaks in it's life and looks like it has never been cleaned. I have pressure washed it twice and barely touched it...but a strong mix of simple green seemed to do the trick. Jd3 and I recently fixed some oil leaks and I figured it was time to do some cleaning. Not trying to make it perfect...that will come sometime later
The grime
closest thing to a before pic as I took
clean vs. dirty
hood done
all done for the day
