Just a little update on the 2000 A6 2.7t

The turbos are bad i'm sure but I noticed if I drive it normally and don't get on it hard it wont smoke. The car drives beautifully too. So now it's my new daily and i'm pretty happy.

You should probably get some KO4s haha and everything else to go with it!

Have fun with that turbo job! Haha. Gotta drop the engine down to do them.

Yes i'm well aware that the engine needs to be removed to service the turbos. Not going to be doing that though. It's running great right now and only smokes under full boost.

Time for an update to the garage. I sold my 00 A6 in april. Two weeks ago I bought a 1997 Jaguar XK8. It's in nice shape and has low miles, and it was cheap too. I couldn't say no.

Thanks. And no sadly it's not the supercharged model. Those came a few years later. 1997 is year 1. It has a 4.0L V8 rated at 290hp.

It's almost wintertime so I picked up another quattro. 2003 A4 1.8T 5 speed with 177k. It had some light right front damage. Still needs a few things but runs and drives great.
