Thanks! I'll check it out next time I crawl under her. I should probably browse my Bentley as well...

Haha yes the previous owner put them on backwards. I don't even know how someone can mix that up.

It stopped very slowly, as if there were no pads left. And yes, quite noisy. All is well now though with the brakes.

Update time!

So my radiator fans don't work at all and the harness side plug was all melted.
Determined that the fan motor is probably shorted out.
Bought Wes's old fan motor and took it out of the assembly and installed it in my Corrado fan assembly.
Bought a whole Corrado VR6 wiring harness off Craigslist took the plug off and put it on my Corrado. Plugged it in and going to test it out tomorrow. Its raining and cold tonight.
I'm gonna be so stoked to have that working!

Alright so its a no go. Fans still not working. I'm going to triple check fuses and after that I'm out of ideas. Maybe I got the wires mixed when I put the plug in? They were different colors than the ones on my car.

There is a little fuse box right behind the battery on my vr parts passat that has a sort of fusible link in it. you may want to check that. should be 2 fuses and a big bar held down with screws. if the big bar is burnt through, replace it.
