So I was cleaning, painting, and rebuilding the rear calipers and ran into a snag. I've done a set like theses before maybe I'm forgetting something. So i go to put the pistons back in and they start threading in and what not and then they seem to not go any further. they will continue to turn just fine but they wont go any further in? Any tips?

Just got my tax return and ordered the wheels and tires. Decided not to go with the steelies. Found a cheaper option. I got four new tires and rims shipped to me for $564 and there is a $40 mail in rebate for the tires, SCORE! Bargain hunting is time consuming but worth it. the steelies with the same tires would of ran me $130 more. Will post pics when they show up.

That's cool. How about those stock GLI springs? The underside is refinished, might start putting stuff back together this week. Going to start porting and polishing as soon as i build myself a crude flow bench. Found a neat way to get the guides out easily. From the valve spring side, use a 10mm tap and go in about to the level of the casting(little tricky getting it started. Screw in a bolt. Flipthe head over, insert a bolt into the valve guide. Then hit that bolt with a hammer( I found one good wack will break it free then just tap it ou the rest of the way). There was no need to heat the heat. they all came out super easy.

I'm sure it will work on a 16v just using smaller tap and bolts.
