well, didnt do any better than 12.8 this weekend, best was 13.52 even tho we tuned the carb much better. the car was pulling the wheels off the ground about three inches but still had a little boggle and we couldnt solve it. got it home in one piece (so we thought) put her in the garage and did a compression test, all good except cyl #6 35 psi :banghead: pulled the VC and holy shit, the #6 exhaust valve rocker arm came loose and fell off so the whole weekend we were doing wheelies and 13.5's on 7 cylinders with the #6 blowing its spent exhaust back into the intake manifold and having a second compression stroke without fuel. might as well been an engine brake!. it did bend a pushrod but that was a 1.43 at oreillys. the rocker is fine, but the roller rocker has some scraches where it turned sideways and put a fine scratch in the cam. so i get to get scolded by my machinist in an hour when i see how bad it is. so the saga continues..........

well the magician machinist is able to save the cam, total damage, two new roller lifters (has to be a pair) and a slight resurface of the cam, we should be up and running again very soon. im stoked to see what it can really do with all eight on the same bandwagon, with the carb tuned much better.
