Nice!
That A4 was posted up on Audizine and made me drool so I got a quote on the 2.0 stroker kit from Laszlo lol.
The GTRS idea was thrown out the window when I got the stroker bug. I'm not going much bigger though. I'm only wanting to go with a GT2871 cuz this is gonna be more of a daily driver than a track car. So I want usable power on the streets but still have something that flows enough to sink my ass into the seat

Thanks! I'm excited too. It's gonna be a slow one though, lol. I'm just glad I have a spare motor to build so I can drive my car in the mean time

Justin, I was thinking about that lean code and the mysterious air leak in your system and I found this info:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthrea ... ost3940508
I think it will apply your your car as well, or something to investigate.

Thanks, Mike! I'll look into that for sure! Just changed my oil and plugs out at Stoney's place last night. New plugs = better idle for sure. Let's see how my MPG does now. :P

Well, I suppose I could update the status of my pretty blue beast...
She's been sitting in my driveway since January. Two hit and runs have put her out of commission.
What it needs to be back in the action :
Hood
Front bumper
Rear bumper
Both front fenders (only one was hit, but the other was slightly tweaked from the previous owner)
Gotta replace all mounting tabs for the headlights
Tail light
Clutch
Timing belt.
And all of this is just to get the car back to the state it was in a year ago. =\
So if anybody has any leads on parts I could snag, let me know. I don't care what color any of the body parts are, as long as they are without damage. It's all gonna get sanded and have some body work done.

To hold me over until the car I actually like is back on the road, I picked this up today
1998 Audi A4
2.8
Quattro
Tiptronic
234,000 miles (Gal who had it just spent over $4000 at Prestige Audi in Denver for motor work addressing all major high mileage issues, with paperwork to back it all up)
Price tag : $1,200
