I've got both a missing linkz and USRT new in the box. They both are quality products based on appearance, the URST will probably get the nod in my car due to the heim joints over the traditional ball and socket style that missing linkz sticks with. No driving impressions until my motor gets here.


I agree with Rennwagen that you could have the wrong shift rods. Are you using your original shift rods? If so was your car originally a 5spd?
Assuming you have the right rods, the 1st gear stop adjustment is critical, the Bently give the measurement for setting it.

yeah my car was originally a five speed, have it adjusted according to my bently, still no dice, so i threw the mk2 shift rod on there and now where first is its now reverse and cant get into fifth! so then i straitened the kink in my oem one and its almost right but no matter how i adjust it, cant get it right??? and chance youd want to sell the M L kit?

Weird, hard to say without seeing it.

I'm going to hold onto the ML kit.
