euro wise does sell that kit yes, but the weight of the vr package will eat alive any rabbit mounts you press into them, even the aftermarket ones wont last.

Mike, I have an ultrasonic cleaner that might help with the injectors. If you pull em, we can run 'em through the cleaner next time you head over to the zoo.

Thanks guys!

I'm just now getting to where it will sort of run. What I've done so far is new battery, oil, filter, plugs and a couple of fuel lines one for the feed and one for the return.

This is a 1.8 JH CIS-basic, and it's really basic...although I am having a hard time with it - it turns over, sounds like it is going to catch and start, but stumbles and dies. Tonight I checked the ignition system and found that I was getting intermittent spark. I'm not sure why, but I think the wires or coil could be bad, so I replaced it with my spare coil, and wires will have to wait until tomorrow. Now I seem to be getting spark, but at the plug it's weak. Pulling the cap, I have corroded green copper on the inside terminals and the rotor needs replaced too, so another thing to pick up tomorrow.

Something else, is the fuel pump and/or accumulator. I hard wired the + to the battery and it runs, but it's not pumping consistently and it squeals. Plus, on the return line, I only get a trickle of fuel back, and it should be pumping way more fuel. So, more than likely it's not good. Randy, you were right  Have a good spare sitting around? Mine sat around too long with old fuel in it.

I seem to be getting fuel to the plugs, because they are wet with fuel. It's hard to tell if the injectors are stuck without having a good working pump, so hopefully I can get that swapped out soon.

Any other thoughts on what to do?
