Update on the VR6 Fans:
I rechecked my fuses. They were good.
I tested Wes's fan motor just to make sure. It was good.
Checked all the wiring going to and from fan components. It was good.
Checked the fan control module. It was good.
Everything seems to be good except for one thing which I haven't had tested...
The temp sender switch in the thermostat housing. This is the only thing I can think of that could be bad through my process of elimination.
I have one ordered through the Missoula VW, surprisingly its still available. And I went ahead and ordered a new fan belt as well.
Should have the parts by next week at the latest.
Now I just have to figure out how to put a spacer between the fan motor and the radiator.
Wes's fan motor wasn't from my same VR6 so naturally things are different. His fan motor is a little bigger than my old one. The pulley for the belt which drives the other fan, rubs on the radiator very badly.
I'm trying to think of a solution. Like adding nuts, between the fan assembly and the radiator, onto the screws that hold the fan assembly to the radiator.
