Thanks.
I could only find seals with the groove for chrome trim. If you can find some regular ones I'll take 'em.

Water stains on the inside?
Sounds good, LMK what you find.

Not really stains, but more like the dust trails left when something has dripped. I didn't mean to startle you, it really is nothing, I was just telling you what I saw. Still no water inside the car. I checked again.

Thanks man.
Like most MKI owners I get nervous when I think about water getting inside. I think the floors will rust if you get in with wet feet...

Well the wiring conversion has begun. For those of you not up to speed, (which would be everyone other Jake and I) We decided to pull out the 3 factory wiring harnesses (yup 3 different harnesses in the car, most of the wires were just twisted and taped toghter, ugh.) I have started pulling out the factory wiring harness and fusebox. I am installing a Painless Wiring harness in it's place. I have the new fusebox mounted up and in place, and have run the rear harness back to the rear, and as of the end of the day, I have the right rear taillight/side marker light and the liscense plate lights soldered up and back in place. I should have some pics of it soon, I took some today, but I forgot to upload them, so I will get 'em up later. That is it for now. Updates soon!!

Today's update for yesterday. Finished up with back end of the car, got left taillight and marker light done, speakers hooked up(they look like they should last you for the trip home, Jake, but I can replace 'em if you want

) Fuel pump and level sender as well. I moved onto the front where I removed the seat and steering wheel and started allocating wiring runs. Got the ignition switch wired up and decided to call it a day. I will have today's update later, and possibly some pics if I am feeling saucy!
edit; oh yeah, I forgot! I got the driver's side window regulator in so the window goes up and down, and I got the rear side trim straigtened out and attached back on with some new clips.

Today's update for today: I didn't get as much done as I had hoped, but I made some progress. I got the rest of the ignition switch finished, got the turn signal lever wired up, spend an hour trying to figure out that the mystery wire in the plug is in fact the horn. Spent another good chunk of time figureing out that the there was one wire in the whole Painless harness that was not labeled, was in fact for the horn. Got the seat belt light and parking brake lights wired up. Started on the wiper control stalk, and also started allocating wires to the spots in the dash they are going to. After that, the day got kinds hectic, 'cause I will be gone for 4 days and that is where I left it. /update.
