Since the Jetta is back in DD status, last week I swapped over to the Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter, and I uninstalled my Bonrath sportwiper, and reinstalled the stock dual wiper setup, Rain-X'd the windshield, and installed new Bosch wipers. Still gotta change the oil, and plugs soon. Winter mode, ugh.

I have to do a tranny pan gasket on my sisters Beetle. It's going to be a pain to get oil back in it.

Got the plugs changed, seemed to clean up a little rought idle. Bonus. Just gotta change the oil. Oh yeah, I also found the ONLY automatic car wash in missoula that the Jetta will fit into. For the Zootowners info, Rods & Dogs out off expressway can get you taken care of. Touchless, of course. Lowriders rejoice! No more handwashing in the winter!

Hey, I forgot to ask you - I need the buckle/latch half of those seat belts I got from you. But I remember something about you didn't have them or something...?
And what year Jetta/GTI did those come out of? I bet I can score a set local if I know the gen or year.

Well, you are in luck, as the latch half went with Jurgen when he got the seats and other stuff from me, and he took them to billings. So if you are really nice to him, maybe he now has like 6 sets that you can choose from. Also, it was an 87 GTi 16v, which has now been crushed. It go bye-bye.

Weeks of tracking down and killing a gremlin that was making my ECU go crazy. (Ended up being a whacked out coolant temp sensor...and probably some dirty grounds)
Got a groupon for a full car tint..DarkMatter ceramic film...$100 for a $400+ job.
Now I need to be about 1.5 - 2 inches lower....next project is suspension..and much less $$ in my pocket.
