Driving over the speed limit is dangerous and illegal. With that said, if i were to possibly think about maybe driving fast you might say the rocco could possibly get over a hundred pretty quick. And if I were to get it over a hundred it maybe might be able to go a decent amount faster, maybe. Obey the traffic laws. :unibrow:

I logged 108 in the Mk1 GTI once, according to GPS. But that was totally legal. For sure.

I can tell you that that rocco has done WELL over 100mph and loved every minute. It was done in a safe manner.

I am having one running issue. The car sometimes will stall at idle but only after the engine has warmed up and the cooling fan has come on. Cooling fan is not always on during a stall. This is the ONLY consistency i have found in regards to the stall, It does not happen too often! The motor is a 9A with a set of Kent Sport cams running on Digi1. I had you burn me a NA chip for it last year. I have checked for air leaks. I have checked the timing. The motor is new with around 5k on it. The compression is good cold and hot. I have done an ISV delete, was able to get it running better and stronger with out it. The CO pot is approximately 6" away from the throttle body and the plug end is facing the TB and directly in line. I have not had the CO pot professionally tuned. The harness is wired into the Scirroco harness in all the right places(spent months doing research for this). Used the original digi1 relays. Grounds are in correct location. The vacuum line to the ECU is 1 meter long. Any thing i need to check?

My 2.0 16V with 276/268 cams running on CIS-E would stall at idle occasionally with a non op ISV. Replaced it with a good one and problem solved.

The ISV that I had on there tested fine according to how the manual said to test it but I heard that is not a guarantee that it works. I'll try the ISV off the Jetta.

I have one or two around as well. When I had that I usually had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. I just figured that was the cams, but I knew much less then.

VW lesson of the day: An ISV, though sounds like it is work and is within the resistance specs might still be faulty. Put the ISV off the Jetta on today and so far no stalling. This is the best the car has ever run. More testing tomorrow.
