Well the engine isn't in it right now. I pulled the whole wiring harness a while back and I'm just starting to reassemble it. So it's hard to tell if anything is working or not yet

I can take some pictures of my 96 passat vr fuse block and see if i can find those connections of you want.

Re: volkSWAGEN SweaterVest style
I think I have everything I need to install my VR. Pulled the pressure plate and my flywheel looked real bad. I for got that I lost first in my last tranny and started in second for like a week. So I ordered a clutch kit (I should have listened to Jason sooner) resurfaced my fly wheel. Some where along the line I seem to have misplaced my shifter bushing so I'm going to try some billet bushings from verdict motor sports and I also got a rear wiper arm delete kit from them. Mine has never worked and I never felt like I needed to fix it. I also ordered some headers and exhaust wrap.
shinny fly wheel, shifter bushings, rear wiper delete
exhaust all wrapped up. this was far more time consuming than I expected. Took me about three hours and 50' of 2" wrap.
My engine with all the parts installed and painted.

That's a nice pallet jack

It's not how fast you go. It's how well you go fast.

So I got my VR in the car. Not running yet but it's a step in the right direction.
One of the most frustrating days of working in my car ever! My heater core ended up breaking the outlet off when I hooked up a heater hose.
Then I tried to take my wheel off. The adapters I have to run my shooters one of the studs spun so I couldn't remove the nut. I ended up drilling it and splitting the nut off the stud. After spending two hours removing my wheel I decided to call it a day.
One of these days I will have a project that goes smooth. I lost a lot of enthusiasm for working on my car today.
