Actually drove it further than 20' today. It ran great but it still needs some suspension work and an alignment.

Today I took the rear suspension apart do to the spring plates hitting to frame. Got the plates notched out for clearance and got it back together. Also got some 145/65r15's for the front. they should take care of the rubbing issues.

Now just need some shocks and to figure out the gremlin in the brake system.

Well I got the smaller tires on the front of the Beetle. I now can turn the wheels from lock to lock. But May have to raise it a bit.
