quick question on door cards

k i am going to do a two tone theme of black and tan in my jetta and i am going to wrap the door cards in black suede or some kinda nice black cloth. i was just wondering if the door cards come out easy if you take your whole panel out and how you take the panel off i know the bottom comes off if you just pull on it but ya just need a lil help.

Door cards aren't too hard on MK4's. IIRC, you will have to remove the trim cover on the door pull, the power window module comes out and disconnects, there is a screw on the front of the door when you have it open up by the mirror. Then you must lift it up as a unit to get it untucked from where the window meets it.
Be careful of all of the clips. Just take your time and don't get frustrated.
