I realize this is the same weekend as Eurostone, but I thought it would be an option to others, and a good way to spread the word to others about the run. A few of us went on this run last year and had a blast, so if you can't make Eurostone, you should definitely make this one!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It's once again that time of year for Beartooth Run 2008! We hope those of you who had the opportunity to come last year will be able to attend once again. For additional information regarding this year's requirements, please visit our website: http://beartoothrun.angelfire.com/.

There will be an after-party following the Run, our website: http://beartoothrun.angelfire.com/ contains more information on the after-party. Maps and checkpoint information will be provided on the day of the Run.

We greatly encourage you too let people know about the Run; however, please do not disclose time and location. Have people visit the BTR website and request an invitation from one of the representatives. We greatly appreciate your cooperation!

Please contact me or one of the other BTR representatives with any additional questions you may have, and please RSVP if you will be able to join us.

Thank you once again, we look forward to seeing you!

-Steve, BTR 2008 Staff

Yeah, it's too bad because I would like to go, but I'm not missing Eurostone - we (Stoney :) ) have had that planned for probably a year now. Also seems strange to me that they don't want the time or location revealed, and it's an invite. Last year didn't seem to be exclusive. Well, whoever wants to go, have fun.

Now, I am no geography major, for sure, but isn't the beartooth hwy/pass IN yellowstone? IF that is the case, with that many cars in the park at one time, I know somebody is getting a ticket!

P.S. I don't know how long you guys have been calling it Eurostone, but I like it!

It's close, but the pass is not in Yellowstone. Last year we ended as far as Cook City, ate lunch and turned around. I assume it's the same route as last year, but nobody will know until they pass out the info. :smirk:
