Me and IBGOLFIN used a grinder to cut down the oem alt bracket then you gotta grind down the bracket from the side so the alt sits in there the right way. then you may or may not have to modify your adjusting bracket. its a pain and it looks like shit but it does work. im not sure if it does work never tried, but the bracket the top of the accessory bracket bolts to, tight where the head meets the block, i think you can use an 8v alternator there but the intake might be in the way.?

get an abf alternator setup. 120 amps, no stupid adjustment issues, just need a proper crank pulley, and a vr6 waterpump pulley
