nice rides JR. I'd love to ride in the A4 sometime. I have always been a fan of Nogaro Blue.

I just updated the list with some parts that are going on in the next couple weeks.

I got a call from the body guy who's working on paint and clear bra. Evidently the parts of the car he's working on have been painted about 4 times?! This makes sense if they a) weren't protected or b) a shoddy job was done previously.

I knew the car had a few indicators of possible previous minor accidents, but that's a lot. He couldn't find the color in any of his Audi books. Had a guy come out and shoot it; came up as a VW color. I suspect the R32 blue. Both Nogaro and the R32 blue are pretty damn close if not identical.

I shoulda' told him it was a factory color but not for that model. Oh well. It'll be good now :) I should have it back on Tuesday.

Cool, did you do a complete reshoot or just the front? I'm curious what the major difference in cost is going to be.

Hey - JR i see you have the Euro tech FMIC - How was your experience with that??
I see they are on sale this month for.. i think 489 or something - worthy of a purchase? or not??
I may spring for it, i have wanted to get an intercooler for a while but was leery cause i have not heard the brand .

BTW your paint job looks bomb =)

Honestly, aside from the stock SMIC, I have nothing to compare this one to and I've been completely happy with it. It certainly keeps me from suffering from heat soak! It's not an HP gain mod, it's an boost longevity mod in hot climates.

I have heard rumors that this particular model can be an airflow bottleneck in comparison with something like an ER Comp, but I haven't seen evidence of that. I'm totally happy with it. That's a great price for a mod that's only does good things.
