what should i run pisstons or a headshim on the new build up the vrt or should i run bolth any info could be helpfull i allready now witch dose what but need help deciding

pistons will always be the best way to go, anyone will tell you that, but ive heard of stock vr6 bottom ends with a head gasket spacer running 15k miles plus! i would definately use arp head studs if you go spacer tho!

Moved to the correct forum. I say go pistons - more $ but worth it. How many miles on the motor?

allmost 200k but i have herd of vr6 bottem ends holding 350hp with stock internals and the right head shim

There are guys running 400+ with a head spacer. That's my goal with the 42# injectors. are you going to be using some sort of software or stand alone?

I do believe you will need pistons.

at the moment i am leaning tward cis but kind of spendy
not shure yet it is still a long way from needing the turbo again
