Man good luck, I wish I had the cash, but can't aford to take out more money until I pay off the wagon. I'd love a good running Westfalia though.

I believe we just sold the 84 Westy last night. Someone put a down payment on it and they are going for a loan today. Unfortunately, I cannot take on another vehicle. I would love a rabbit GTI, I had a '87 Golf GL and loved it. But, we are selling this one, because we found a '90 Westy with only 54K on orig. engine. Otherwise, we wouldn't get rid of the '84. It was parked on Willson, near the Story Mansion for one day and we had more calls from there than the newspaper or any other source. If for some reason it doesn't go through, I will post it again on here. Thanks for the inquires. Cheers!

good deal man, westy's are definately a sought after commodity. 54k is insanely low, is it a syncro?? thatd be ideal.

Not a Synchro. It was stored in someone's garage near Springhill for about 6 years. may have been started it a few times. Mice moved in so it had to be disinfected and totally gutted. A neighbor found it, bought it and worked on it all summer long. I couldn't pass up the deal. By the way, do you know a good local VW mechanic? Our good guy, Leo in Belgrade no longer works on VW's.
