Hello!!
So - my car recently has been taking nearly 20-25 min to warm entirely up.
It used to take nearly three min...
what are common causes of that?? thermostat??
heater is not very hot either, although its never really been that hot..
any ideas?

Yeah sounds like thermo. They stay closed until the coolant in the engine warms up, and then they open, allowing hot coolant in the heater core, and BAM!! Heat!! I have the same thing going on my SIlverado, but I am still looking for the chance to change it. I even have the thermo and coolant!

the engine temp will get hot, but it takes nearly 30 min, the heater air blowing out will be lukewarm
very different from even last week =)
Still thermostat? worthy of just at least trying it im assuming?

Yes... Sounds like thermostat. If you have a VR6 its a couple hose clamps and 3 bolts to remove it.

Yeah, I would do it youself. I am not sure where the thermo is located on the Ts, but on an old school 1.8 it takes like 5 minutes to do, you just have to watch out for the coolant shower!
