well i have a p&p JH head layin around that im not gonna be useing on the rocco so its for sale!
i dont know a lot about the head as alot of the work done was by the PO.
its been P&P with a 3 angle valve job. new everything exept valves.
the valves are over sized but again im not sure how much. the head was also shaved at one point but again, no idea how much.

the motor this was on was runnin 11 - 1 comp ratio. but the block also had some work done, such as TT high comp pistons.

need to sell so $300 delivered!

what was this head originally off of? I have just come upon a sweet deal on some pistons, and want to do some headwork also. Now I am wondering if it would be cheaper to have the headwork done, or buy one already done.......I don't know head codes, so I don't know what the JH head came off of.

JH is from an 83 or 84 GTi rabbit.

the JH motor is the most sought after 8v as they had the biggest valves from the factory. another plus is its a solid lifter head 8)

Perfect. Then the JH motor is the one I have in my 84 GTI. I may be in touch. Seems like it would save me a bunch of time and effort to buy one already done. Any idea who did the work on it originally?

i have no idea who did the P&P. advanced engines here in helena did the valves but the p&p was done under the PO. the intake mani isnt that good but the head looks good

edit:
i can bring it with me when i pass thru missoula this sunday 8)

Oh, yeah, about that.......I went snowboarding on sunday. I apoogise, but it was a last minute thing and we were getting snomobile and snocat rides to the top of the pass with some awesome powder runs and I couldn't pass it up! I will be in Helena for Christmas, though! I am not sure what is going on that weekend, but if you are around, maybe we can meet up!

Advanced actually has one of my blocks right now, for some work, and they have done a few motors for us over the years, including a 900 hp blown Chevy 468! Now I am really interested in that thing......
