Greeting fellow VW enthuisists,
Joshua Dolley here, 27, was looking on the CL for parts when one of the members I was contacting for parts was going to show me his build thread/car. Seems I have to register to see! Not a big deal! enough rambling...on to personal info.
Moved to Minot ND from PAfor a decent paying job. Have a 6 y/o daughter who loves anything I enjoy.
I starting my enjoyment at the age of 16 with a 1987 2 door Golf GL, next was a 1991 GTI 8v, then a 1994 Golf GL, then a 1987 Quantum...(<--Previously owned cars) (currently own--->) 1984 Rabbit GTI, 1997 GTI VR6, 1991 GLI 16V, 1990 Jetta GL, and picking up a Corrado G60 at the end of the month. (Clearly people in ND are afraid to work on VW's :D ) So I pick them up dirt cheap. I look forward to communicating with all of you
On with the pix

1997 GTI VR6, 77,XXX miles. Completly stock

1990 GLI 2.0 16V. Picked this up in Dec 08, PO never took car of it and as you can see..it pretty rough. Runs pretty good though. Yes, those are bottlecaps with snows up front and sebrings out back :banghead: I have both full sets though

Hey welcome aboard. Did you get a different grill for the GLI? I did not have a badgeless on it. Yes that was my GLI. How is it running? Did you get it to the way I had it when I sold it. Like I said before I'll buy it back from you. You should come out for the cruise.

From one Mk1 GTI autocrosser to another, welcome! Also, what class do you run in with no bumpers and slicks? Also any speed secrets I should know about? Maybe we can trade some..... :ninja:

the PO owner put a badgless grill on it. I still have the badged grill. Since I dont have a garage I have only fixed what it needs to get it thru this winter. I hate the MONO wiper. BLAH!

Thank you for all of your responses! I will def have to make it down to MT to hang out!

It worked great for me. I miss that car sooo much. I'd love to see it again if you brought it on the cruise.
