It might have been low, I was dealing with a cracked thermo housing at the time. Now it has all been fixed. Including new water pump!

Thanks! The GTI is pretty much original enginewise, 154,000 miles. It is a grown-ups go kart!

Well it is about time to say goodbye to the 80 Rabbit project. I have run out of time, money, and enthusiasm. I am selling it to a very good friend of mine, who will see it through. He just bought a house with a really big shop, and has been bugging me about the car for some time, so it is time to let it go. I can't honestly say I will miss it, it has been a pain in my ass for a while now, not because of any mechanical issues, but just that I have no place to keep it where it is out of the way. SO long buddy!
P.S. yes, there is a Honda in my garage.
