Big Sky Euro

Okay, so I'm new to the water-cooled thing, but I grew up working on and thrashing a baja bug in Ravalli County. I'm currently deployed to Iraq and will return to the Bozeman area this fall, but I'm going to put my feelers out now because I'm looking for a specific car.

I want a MkII GTI with a 2.0l 16v engine. It needs to be manual transmission. I want a well cared for car, not too modded out, but some mods are okay. A clean, Recaro enterior. Straight body, no rust. Mileage is not an issue if it's been taken care of. I'm being picky because I want this car to go the long haul with me.

Oh Man! There were two such cars that just went through the VW dealer in Missoula, but they are both gone. I will keep my feelers out for you. Oh welcome, and thanks for being over there for us!

where about are you in iraq? there really isnt many of those "good ones left" you might end up getting one out of state and shipping it. either way good luck and get back to bozo soon. we need more crew esp golf 2 crew

Two 2.0 16v GTi's came through the dealer!?!?! No freaking way! Really?

Yeah, one black, one white. Both one owners, both clean as hell. The black one had a pretty chipped up hood.

Too bad I didn't post this up a few weeks ago. I appreciate ya'll keeping your feelers out. I'll be back in Bozangeles by October. Right now I'm north of Baghdad a bit working on a JSS. Lots of neat Toyotas and Land Rovers to look at over here.
