Big Sky Euro

Hey guys, I am looking for a new Steering rack including boots and inner and outer tie rods and whatever else is applicable to replace at the same time.
It looks like MJM autohaus is the cheapest, but I have to do a 150 dollar core charge with that plus the rack is remanufactured.
Anyone have any other sources??

Also - Do you guys think i might be able to do this repair myself or should i pay someone else to do it. I am not the most mechanically inclined but i enjoy learning !

You need a pump? Probably not if its working fine. Tie rod ends could be replaced I bet.

I think the tie rod assembly comes with the rack - and I guess i will wait and see if the pump is broken before i go and try to replace it =)

last time I drove your car the pump was working

True, that is before the entire system blew out, now its leaking so bad that whatever i put in there, goes straight through the system and bleeds onto the ground in a matter of seconds.
I had to drive it home like that, and i will have to drive it to my mechanics so hopefully that won't ruin the pump
