This is how I feel tonight!

ME: 0 DEER: 1

I'm getting sick and tired of animals. Last night it was a raccoon and 3 babies (2 made it). (I cried. A LOT)

TONIGHT - was a DEER.
Lucky for me I kinda saw it coming, was probably going 40-45 at time of impact and it wasn't head on. Right side of my car is trashed (but I was able to drive it home the 4 miles I was away)

Damage is:
-hood, couple of medium dents
-right front quarter panel - totally smashed in, rubbing in wheel well
-passenger door, dented pretty badly, and will not open
-mirror - not broken off thankfully because it moves anyways, but alas the mirror is cracked and hanging out by its wires.

AND, about 40 min. later that damn deer got up and ran away! Guess they like the abuse? Will put some pics up when I get some daylight pics. This all happened at dusk, and oddly, I sensed it happening before I left my house. Fricken weird.... O__o

I'm just glad that my car wasn't more seriously damaged, or god forbid, totalled...I know I am lucky, but I'm still seriously annoyed by all this.

Just really really annoyed. I have no time to deal with this crap! LOL
Such is life though. Insurance will pay for it so I'm not really all that worried about it.

i hate deer its me 1 deer 3. one dident get up well as long as every bodys ok its all good.

I had a buddy that hit a deer in his wolfy, and he was so pissed that he asked the HP if he could borrow his gun and shoot it himself. but the HP wouldn't let him. then he was really pissed!

Like I said, I'm just glad this wasn't worse. Still annoyed, but at least it will get fixed!

Volkswagens do well against the deer. I'm sorry you had to experience it though. I hit one head on with my bus so I feel your pain. Good luck with the repairs.

got my love back a couple weeks ago and it looks FAB! Now if only I had the $$ to get the drivers side fixed up a bit ...
yet now I have another problemo, more engine related, and I'm not sure what to make of it....will be posting for Ideas eleswhere
