Black Exhaust Tips??

So I was thinking of blacking out my Exhaust tips. It is the only chrome on the car now so...I thought why not make it go away. I know there are many paints that resist heat but, I feel a flat paint will always look dirty. That brings me to...brake caliper paint. I was thinking that the surface would be smooth easy to clean and heat resistant. What do you guys think? My only concern is that the Borla tips were $140.

The only paint that is going to stand up is the exact paint you painted the car with.
Brake caliper paint does not last worth a shit.

i would use a generic paint, it would be easy to clean off, it would hold up for a long time, and you could get the sheen you desire.

I know the borla tips were like $100! I think I should completely remove them and then paint em. Lots of good ideas....I do have some black magic pearl left over. I wonder how regular paint would take the heat?
