Heat vent, I think. I guess I have never put my hand over it to feel if air comes out. I suppose it could be a temp sensor location for Climatronic.

Def. not for Climatronic because my car doesnt have climatronic and I have one too. I can go pull it apart tonight and figure it out.

I think you have stumbles up on one of the great mysteries of the universe. I don't think anyone knows what that is for sure...... Kinda like what makes twinkies last for so long......

Since I never sit on the passengers side...it's a vent for the passengers side "climate control" lol I have manual everything. Air does come out of it when I turn on the controls to floor.
