hey finally got around to putting that the new airbox/fuel diz and injectors on the 16v today and it fired right up ran good too!!!!
but then disaster, for some reason the fuel pump stopped running, i checked everything, fuel pump fuse pump relay and all that is good.

so quick question, are you going to use the fuel pump in that GTI?? :?:

is it the fuel pump. or fuel accumulator? Or have you already tested and know it it the pump?.....

I know you checked the fuse and relay, but you might want to get underneath it and make sure that you have voltage to the pump itself. Actually I think there is an access panel under the back seat(IIRC) check voltage there, chack voltage at the accumulator (looks like a fuel pump, but bigger(and more expensive! ) underneath the car near rear trailing arm on pass side.

all i do know for sure is that it was runnin perfect, then i turned it off to check some more things, and i turned the key and no pump running, all i hear is the relay clikin... wil dig more later but pretty sure pump is out, plus the plastic housing around the pump cracked and broke for some reason.....
