well went to helena to check out kevens 79 rabbit, it has rust in the same spot mine does, so im still in the hunt for a rabbit, sorry kevin, nice meeting you tho, hope you get down to bozeman to some of the sunday gtg's all i really need is a rolling chassis, dont need a motor tranny just a good fairly rust free rabbit, im dying here, i was hoping to have my 16v swap done before spring summer this year so i can try my luck at some auto X events, if you hear even a whisper of a rabbit for sale and dont want/need it for yourself please let me know beggin here.... in the golf 1 forum there is a black rabbit and that is the goal im trying to reach eventually, i just need a good starting basis....still searchin
