Big Sky Euro

Well boy and (girls) I was told that i should do a thread on my mk2 gti build,so here we go.I started out with a 85 black(mostly) 8v golf gti,The poor car was not taking care of very well there isn't a straight piece of metal on the whole car.(but body work is easy).The miles are very high 472xxx on od that stopped working when the motor was replaced about 5yrs ago so i am sure that it has close to 600000 miles that what the old owner calculated.With all that the interior looks great the cars runs good and was a perfect start to do a project( i hope).I chose this car for the look of it ,( its a very sexy car) and it was the first year that the gti was a golf,although the title states that its a rabbit ( what does the dmv know).After months of dealing with the title work,I started the project yesterday.With the Help of some good friends jarred(s406) and a buddy of mine that just moved back home from Phoenix (scott), we put on new tokico struts and lowering ( i think 2") springs,15' rota wheels ( don't know the name) with 195-50-15s rubber , and a single round head light conversion ,with 7' cross hairs.The car looks so sweet its more then i had expected .Today i am taking the car to another buddy to get the header and bosal cat-back exhaust put on. Thats it for now pics will be up soon .

Got the exhaust on the car sounds soooooo sweet and has got a little more power,need to figure how to get more air in.also got lots of pics wife will put them on soon.

Just ordered some DDM h.i.d.s 55w 6000s for the gti should be here wed or thurs cant wait should be cool,sorry boys the camera is down and out.Oh ya traded a local guy a mk3 Ac pump off my parts car for two mk2 fenders and a mk2 small window door.

Oh,so now you don"t need my door anymore?!?! slut.
