2003 subaru imprezza 2.5 RS

So a buddy that i work with has an 03 subaru 2.5 RS that has about 130k on the car, 5spd tranny, black exterior. He threw a rod or something, basically the engine is toast and he is asking around $3,500 for it. Nothing wrong with Subarus! Just some of the people who drive them!
