Anyone have a 16v motor, 1.8 or 2.0, for sale? Looking to reinstall one in my 89 GTI

i cant think of any at current time, they seem to pop up everywhere, another decent option would be ABA, highly underestimated in a light mk1/mk2

And ABA is the 2.0l out of a mk3...if I remember correctly? If so, what is needed to complete that sort of swap?kompressorgolf wrote:i cant think of any at current time, they seem to pop up everywhere, another decent option would be ABA, highly underestimated in a light mk1/mk2

I have a head and block, that are from the same motor, just broken apart. Rods/pistons/crank are out of the block, waiting for overbore!
