Engine issues...

Alright, well I haven't been on here in a while and I apologize for that. Life takes many turns but I had finally had my car working again, until this morning.
The car started up great this morning and was running normally but about halfway home my car started running really funny. And now...well you can't touch the gas without the CEL flashing. It idles very rough, this was the first thing I noticed. You can stand in the back and hear it, almost sounds like its missing a cylinder. At first I figured it had gone into limp mode but I realize that isnt the case at all. It sounds/feels very choppy while accelerating and almost like my turbo isn't even working. It's not blowing out any smoke, I think, with all this cold weather its hard to tell though. The turbo seems to be working but at idle its not the same. Its sitting at about 15hg opposed to 20-21 which is what its normally at. I can't imagine my turbo is blown at 77K miles. I guess not that it would matter. Due to lack of funds (p.s- I'm broke) I figure I would try to diagnose this problem myself, probably would help if I had a VAG-com huh?
I recently strapped on the ECS Race N75 and a Forge 007 and I was thinking about switching out the N75 to see if that changes anything but I don't believe that to be the problem.
Anyways, if anyone could give me some input to this problem I would much appreciate it. You guys have been great in the past.
