I'm new to this site, My son is Mk2dubber on here. Today we picked up 2 diesel rabbits for me, 1 is a 4 door L model and the other is a 2 door with a sunroof. Both are in great shape, and I got them for really cheap. The 2 door has a good engine, and the 4 door has a bad engine (although, we did get it to run and move) This weekend my son (Mk2dubber) and his friend Leif (leifro) are going to be swapping in the donor engine and 5 speed transmission. My future plans are BBS rims, techtonics exhaust, giles pump, and the little things. The car came with a stock pile of new parts, so keep an eye on the classifieds my son will be putting parts up. Are you going to build the two door or the four door?

Both actually, the 2 door is getting an AWD 5000 quattro drive train. And the 4 door is gonna be a DD 1.6 Diesel

Wow, that's uber cool. An Audi drive train in that two door is going to be sweet. I'm guessing getting the Quattro work will take some fab work?

My parents had a diesel Rabbit when I was just a wee one and those things got outstanding mileage. Looking forward to the updates!

Yes, It will take quite a bit of fab work. My son and his friend are doing that.. Not me. The silver car is very cool, the roof rack is stock, it also has A/C and CRUISE!!

Doing some work to it today, Gonna fix a few areas on the body and order a can of matching LE7Y?
