I'm selling my baby because I'm having a "real" baby and it's time to start thinking family car.

I'm currently living in Helena but will be moving to Missoula in June. I will be driving to Missoula tomorrow, Saturday May 20th and will take this car if anybody there would like to take a look.

This is a black 2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS, with the VR6 2.8L 12V engine and all black leather interior.

I'm the 2nd owner. Kept in the garage most of its life and taken very good care of. It was my first car and I wanted it forever, but life get's in the way sometimes.

Just shy of 160,000 miles. The first owner commuted to work every day and well, the miles do add up. I would say 80% freeway miles. Just had a full tune up and look through last August as well as a new starter, radiator, and alternator installed. Always run premium gas and synthetic oil.

Some of the extras installed:

Full OETTINGER body kit including front grille, front spoiler, side skirts, rear skirt, and trunk spoiler.
17" Konig wheels
Tuned sport suspension with 1.5" drop
Remus sport exhaust system
4000 Watt stereo system including 2 subs and 4 component sets
Custom trunk design
7" in-dash touch screen with GPS
Rear view camera
Alarm system
Remote window control
HID Xenon Headlights
And much more...

Full Disclosure:

There are some things that you need to know about this car beforehand.

First, the car has a ghost electrical drain that cannot seem to be found. I've had multiple shops look at it and multiple fixes done but to no avail. If the car is left sitting longer than about 36 hours the battery will be dead.

Second, due to the battery drain, the head unit of the stereo system does not work 100%. All of the systems functions work correctly, GPS works, dvd's play, rear view camera works, but no sound comes out of the head unit. Speakers can still be enjoyed with a direct connection to the amps through an ipod, cell phone, or other portable music player.

Third, the paint could be in better shape. Small chips and scratches in various places. But nothing more than expected with a 10 year old car.

All in all this has been an amazing car for me. Other than the battery drain I have had no issues with it at all.

Only asking $5,000 for this. Just the extras alone add up to the Nada value of $5,350!

If you have any questions about the car or would like to see it in person: send me a pm and I'll bring it to Missoula with me tomorrow. Or come take a look at it in Helena anytime
