Cheap VW

Does anyone know or have a VW like 1980-1990 or even before that they don't want to have to deal with anymore. I would really love a VW rabbit and I can't seem to find them anywhere in Helena for pretty cheap. I'm just looking for a project car that I can practice stuff on that doesn't matter that much. Engine work, Body work, just a learning experence. If you know of someone close to Helena that might have one please let me know
Thank you,
Christian

Dude, you need a full time job.
Does your car now have all of the smog features?
Have you cleaned up your engine bay at all?
Can you custom build an integrated ipod mount into your dash?
Have your wheels powder coated?
Remove and patch the (fog light?) mounts on your front bumper?
Install a cold air intake?
Recharge your a/c?
Change the oil, change the belts?
There's a lot you can do on a budget with your current car, I'd take a look at that before buying another car.

There is a MKII GTi in billings that I have an eye on. But haven't gotten a hold of the owner yet. I will keep you posted since I realy don't have room for another car.

Well Billings is a pretty far distance for me. But I will see what I can do if you can get something worked out with him
Thank you
Also stoney I'm 17 and in Highschool you can't have a full time job while taking all honors/ap classes.

But that thing runs and drives doesn't it? I'm looking for like 200-500$ car that doesn't mean much.
That is a pretty sweet car though I really like it. For some reason the Golf/gti/rabbit all are very intersting to me.

You said earlier that this guy you are still trying to get ahold of to see if he would sell it correct? Idk but if you owned that car would you let it go really cheap?

It looks like its been sitting for a bit and they may not be as dedicated VW'ers as we are.

Well if you have any chance to talk to this guy I'm very intersted in that. It would give me something to tink around with. Would you pick that up if you had room for cars?
