Euro Light Conversion

Has anyone had any experience in replacing the stock headlights with and Euro lens conversion? From what I have read when euro cars come to the states, they make the the lens different so it is not smooth/clear... instead it is slightly spiraled to difuse the beam.... I've drove a RS4 in New Zealand and the headlights were in"tents"... like a circus fire! I want them!

I envy you, but I dont understand the last part...

I havent done anything like this... I believe ecodes have a different beam, but they are about $600...

Ecodes have a higher cut off and a more focused beam. Resulting in less side illumination and reducing the puddling effect. The beam is longer and brighter. From all accounts I've heard people love them and it's worth the $600, if you've got the money burning a hole in your pocket. I just cleared my corners and put in mirrored amber bulbs to clean up the look; and upgraded to 55w driving lights to boost the lighting. This has solved my lighting issues, but if I had the cash laying around, I'd still buy Ecodes.

Here's some info on Ecode install and lighting patterns.

Mine are aftermarket lights. But as far as using the stock fogs and upgrading the bulbs, research revealed these: Precision Optic Super White 80W H7 bulbs from SPP.

Where to buy inside:
