So I told my dad i don't know how many times to keep the fuel tank above 1/4. Well wouldn't you know it this is now the third vehicle that he has owned that he burned up the fuel pump. Now that I am selling the GTi and due to dads health issues ( he is no longer allowed to drive) I will be owning the A6 again. Long story short it's time for a new fuel pump.

On the brighter side I have the A6 again.

Oh and by the way. I took the pump out today and it works fine. So now it's time to look into spark issues. The only code I pulled was for an o2 sensor.

Couldn't hear the pump when I turned the key on an was getting power to it. There was a loose wire inside the tank that could have been an issue. But it still didn't start. I will look into other things this Saturday.
