Have you found that leak yet?

Yeah I need to find a leak on mine too... Or should I hear two whining sounds when boosting?

Ive heard it more on A4 than on S4s, my buddy Chris has almost no whining noises... but a lot of the B6 A4s I drive have that whirring noise, but you could have a leak. Im pretty sure I do since at higher speeds and barely accelerating you can really hear it.

Im too cheap to buy the $11 worth of supplies (well actually I did but it just sat around for a week or two so I returned it), and also I didn't have the drill or compressor.

Edit: I just noticed you said TWO whining noises, how do you hear two? One if probably just the turbos, but if you're hearing another one... than that might be a leak.

hrm...im thinking its just the turbo. These newer cars are far to smart for their own good. If there was a boost leak or hose leak somewhere you would get a light me thinks. Me also thinks I change oil for a living so what do I know

Im wondering why he is hearing two noises though.
