1.8t problem

i have a 1.8t with the revo program and stage two everything else... but for some reason it will kick into limp mode at random times and stay in limp mode for awhile then just go back to normal... i just replaced all the boost lines and still didnt fix the problem does anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem ????

it will only pull like 5 pounds of boost in limp mode or whatever is wrong with it. when its running fine it will peak at about 25 it just gets annoying that i cant figure out the problem but would like some help

Check the map sensor.

Yeah for sure, check sensors. Have your car scanned and you'll find the issue I bet.

are you running a stock turbo? if so 25 psi will blow up a ko3 so you may be throwing yourself into limp mode by trying to run at full boost. i had the stg1 on a mkIV gti and it only ran 18lbs. does it go into limp mode when your just cruising? or only when you get on it?

I modded your above post FYI, sounds like you might be going lean, tossing the car into limp, do you have a wideband>?

@vegas2017 it goes into limp mode usually when i am pushing high boost so how do i fix that since i have the revo program in it???? but also it will just happen sometimes just cruising down the interstate so maybe a fuel issue? i am taking it to my mechanic during easter break so he can check the code
